Margaret Morgan – Co Chair,
Margaret is a long-term South Ascot resident whose children were born in the Heatherwood Hospital and is naturally passionate about this area & remains keen to see improvements that are sensitive to the leafy nature of our villages.
Charles Appleby – Co Chair, Charles is a long-term Sunningdale Resident having made a career in IT Services Sales working with major IT Companies based just outside our area in the Thames Valley as well as work for an International Charity. He is particularly interested in making the local area a more attractive place to live, to help to build the local community, and address the challenge of creating more jobs in the area.
Diana Tombs has lived in Sunninghill for over 25 years and has always had an interest in the history of the local village and the community. Her background is in business and marketing. She used to run a marketing agency, but is now self-employed, doing marketing and business consultancy and mentoring.
Philip Hylton – Royal Borough Representative, Philip was born in Berkshire and has lived here ever since, with some short extended stays for university in Leicester and Ohio. He received his masters in Town Planning in 2009 and has since earned membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute. He has experience in development control, planning policy, and has previously worked for a planning consultancy. He has been in the Royal Borough’s planning policy unit since August 2008.
Christine Gadd – Sunningdale Parish Representative, Christine is a long-term Sunningdale resident who, after a long career in the Airline industries, has thrown her considerable energies into the community. She is currently the Chairman of the Sunningdale Parish Council.
Peter Deason – Ascot & Sunninghill Parish Representative, Peter is a Sunninghill resident who, after retiring from a career as a Civil Engineer, took the decision to support our community and ensure our area remains a great place to live, so when the opportunity arose to join our NP steering group I jumped at it. He is also a Governor of St Michael’s C of E Primary School, Sunninghill as well as a Parish Councillor with the Sunninghill and Ascot Parish Council.
Anne Martin has been a long term resident of the area and is the current Clerk to the Sunningdale Parish Council. Her in-depth knowledge of the area provides a profound understanding of the opportunities and constraints the Neighbourhood Plan needs to address. She was also the driving force behind the launch of the Sustainable Sunningdale initiative.
Paul Diluce Brown is a local resident, a former Sunningdale Parish Councillor and Topic Group Coordinator. He advises, works with and for Governments, The Authorities, Private Sector and Communities forging partnerships where appropriate and attracting investment. He cares passionately about our environment and its relationship with all those who live, work, study, relax and visit it.
Barbara Hilton lives in Ascot and is a deputy leader of Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council as well as chairs the Planning Committee. She enjoys living in this area and believes it’s imperative that, as a community, we balance the retention of the important characteristics of each neighbourhood, alongside the planning for long term growth for future generations.
Patrick Griffin has been a resident of Sunningdale for 22 years and sees getting involved with neighbourhood planning offers the chance to give something back by helping to shape the neighbourhood for next 20 years.
Michael O’Sullivan has been a resident of the area for 20 years. A Management Accountant by profession, he is now a partner in a Pharmaceutical Business Development business. For 8 years he had an office in Kingswick House Sunninghill and now works from home. A member of St Francis Parish in South Ascot, he is interested in protecting the landscape and wildlife habitats in the locality.
